Numerology as a Tool for Love

Numerology is a relatively common system that looks at numbers for their significance in our lives. It is possible to apply this to love. The designation of how things line up from the day we are born is intriguing whether focused on sychronicity, astrology, tarot, or numerology. There are so many methods of achieving our roots and how we intertwine with a new or existing love. To truly intertwine, we must explore and expose our deepest vulnerabilities. Bearing ourselves in real life is tough, but is a veritable way to find a forever mate. So, is numerology a way to determine compatibility? Possibly.

Numerology is a mystical mathematical coincidence that values names, ideas, and words. Many believe in its power, though there are also many skeptics. Numerology has been passed down through the generations as a way of aligning ourselves with the divine. Still, it is often called superstition and not having a realistic use in the logical world. However, the old religious philosophers embraced it fully and charted their lives accordingly. Even scientists and physicists have studied how the numbers line up and applied that to certain theories. In the popular culture realm, numerology has a split as well and while some pick partners based on the numbers, others see this as ridiculous.

As a tool for love, the numbers boil down to luck and timing and is still popular among the spiritually driven among us. Studying numerology means exploring the psyche of coincidence that covers everything from the life path numbers to inner dream numbers. Each category playing a role. It is said Pythagoras brought this patterning of numbers to our generation. Though Carl Jung was an obsessive scientist, he also used these numbers to coin the phrase synchronicity and bring coincidental occurrences to the attention of many. Numerology thus played a role in aligning events that were 100% accurate in bridging the subconscious and conscious. Though love tends to focus on those who are compatible at the heart and soul levels, but numerology can help you understand what is to come. Still, even if the numbers do not align, we can learn to come together in a loving way.

To arrive at the destinations in numerology, the calculations start with the life path number. This is found in the following way:

  • Reduce each unit of your birthdate to a single digit or master number (month/day/year) with the master numbers being 11,22, or 33)
  • Then add the resulting digits together and reduce to a single digit
  • Example: November 12, 1980 = November 11 or 1 + 1 = 2; 12 = 1+2 = 3; 1980 = 1 + 9 + 8 + 0 = 18 =1+ 8 = 9; Add all 2 + 3 +9 = 14 = 1 + 4 = 5
  • The life path number is now 5 (in this case).

Now you need to find your heart’s desire number which is found using numbers that correspond to vowels. Add together the values of all the vowels in your full name.

(A = 1; E = 5; I = 9; O = 6; U = 3; and Y = 7)

So, the name Amy Dawn Deeds would be 1 + 1 + 5 + 5 = 12 = 1 +2 = 3 This means the heart’s desire number is 3.

When we combine each of the methods, we can find a pleasant surprise in alignment of this crazy world. Numerology is fun and engaging and can be another tool to spread light on our love lives. Take the chance to explore and have a bit of fun.
